CaptureMe User Manual

You’re now at one of your final steps to becoming a UWA student….. it’s time to take and upload your photo for your UWA campus card via CaptureME!

You’ll need a campus card to borrow items from the library and to access a number of other services on campus. If you already have a valid and active student campus card, you do not need another one and you can skip this stage. There are also some conditions of use associated with your campus card, so please ensure that you review these prior to obtaining your card.

Upload and submit your photo

Once you have enrolled, UWA uses CaptureME technology to enable you to take and submit your own photo for your first UWA campus card.

There are a few guidelines you’ll need to follow to ensure we approve your photo, so logon now with your student number and pheme password  to take your picture!.

Check your student email account

You will receive two emails to your student email account regarding your campus card.

1) A confirmation that your photo has been successfully submitted

2) An email to advise when the photo submitted has been approved by the team and when and where you can collect your campus card (as the location can vary depending on the time of year).

You may also get a ‘rejected’ message if the photo that has been submitted does not meet the criteria and you will receive guidance on what needs to be changed when you submit your photo next time.

Collect your campus card

The email that you receive from the Student Administration will advise when and where you can collect your campus card (as the location can vary depending on the time of year).

Important: to collect your campus card, you will need to bring in proof of identity/citizenship (including passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate)and photo ID (what if I don’t have this?)
