Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Approved Study List for Student Exchange and Study Abroad?
An approved study list is a list of the units (subjects) that you have approval to enrol in at UWA. You can request as many units as you like on your study list, including backup options in case some units aren’t approved or you have timetable clashes. You will subsequently enrol in four units (24 credit points) per semester at UWA.
How do I submit a plan for my Approved Study List?
You can either (1) submit a proposed study list during the application process in OASys, or (2) email the Global Learning Office with your unit selection. Use option 2 if you need to add or change a unit later.
Where do I find units to choose from?
The University Handbook has information about all units offered at UWA.
When will my study list be approved?
The Global Learning Office works with the UWA faculties to review your unit selection and ensure you meet prerequisites. Once your study list has been reviewed, you will receive an email notification. You will then be able to log into OASys to view your study list. You must have an approved study list with at least four approved units (or 24 UWA credit points) before you can enrol. If you have any problems viewing your study list please contact the Global Learning Office.
